Did you know making Mac 'n Cheese is just as easy as making the easy Mac store packaged Mac 'n Cheese? And its even more delicious. I promise once you try this easy recipe you won't ever buy store bought again.
8 oz of choice elbow macaroni
8 oz of American cheese or cheddar
Parmesan cheese for toppings
1 cups of milk
2 tbsp butter
1/4 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper for taste
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions.
In a sauce pan add milk, butter, paprika and salt and pepper, stir frequently over medium heat.
Add pasta to the saucepan
Turn heat to low and add American cheese letting it sit for several seconds to melt before stirring. Stir constantly until cheese coats the elbow macaroni. Optional, sprinkle more paprika as you stir in cheese.
Dish Mac n Cheese and add parmesan cheese over the top and paprika.
This is a simple way to make Mac n cheese but if you want to get fancy you can make a roux using flour but I like this quick and easy recipe best, especially when on a time crunch.
